Mycoplasma Genitalium (MG) is an STI which affects both men and women. The bacterium infects the mucous membranes of the urethra, cervix, throat and anus.

The best way to prevent the spread of MG is by always using condoms or other barrier methods, with a water based lubricant.

If you have symptoms or you think you may have been exposed to Mycoplasma Genitalium, you should get an STI test. Find a local clinic near you via our clinics page.
