The WA AIDS council leads the Western Australian community in the provision of a wide range of services in the prevention of HIV, and the treatment and care of people living with HIV/AIDS. In addition to counselling, they offer positive services for people living with HIV/AIDS, their families and carers. Through this program, there is access to counselling, referrals for accommodation assistance, emergency financial assistance and buddy volunteer support. They also have a free clinic for same sex attracted men to get tested for STIs, and another clinic where anyone can be anonymously tested for STIs.

They also run an AIDSline, providing information, education and referral for a range of sexual health issues. Phone 08) 9482 0044 Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
