20 years ago this was the face of the AIDS awareness campaign:

Today YEAH seeks to empower young Australians through interactive seminars that provide information on topics such as the basic medical facts of HIV & AIDS, the social implications, facts and figures on the scale of HIV/AIDS both globally & locally, as well as the personal story of YEAH's CEO Alischa Ross, whose personal encounter with HIV will bring it home to the students.

Alischa Ross is an experienced public speaker who has worked with young people and HIV all around the world, including Africa, USA, Spain, Japan and Thailand. Alischa has also spoken with President Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela and Jane Goodall about the worlds response to HIV/AIDS and the involvement of young people.
Alischa is passionate about young Australians having the information they require to make positive choices about around their sexual behavior.

The workshops are interactive and engaging, designed the give the students a fun and relaxed experience while also learning some really important information.
** Workshops can be tailored to suit a range of age groups and time frames.

A Closer Walk
In October 2005 Y.E.A.H. launched the educational release of 'A Closer Walk', a film depicting the global AIDS pandemic. To complement and promote the education value of the film, a detailed educational study guide is available.
The study guide offers an introduction to teachers, parents and students about AIDS in the world. The guide includes activities that are designed to encourage students to explore the issues surrounding AIDS from a human rights perspective as well as providing basic factual information.
Specific learning outcomes make this guide simple and effective to use in the classroom. Activities have also been structured to complement components of the film that can be viewed chapter by chapter, making this guide suitable for a single class focusing on the topic of AIDS or a series of classes that can be conducted for a duration suiting the individual school circular and time frame.
The study guide can be downloaded for FREE from Y.E.A.H.'s web site.
