SEX AND YOUNG PEOPLE’S HEALTH: A NEW NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO INFORM AND CHANGE ATTITUDES On Friday 29th May, 2009, Federal Health Minister Nicola Roxon launched the Commonwealth Government’s new campaign on Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). The radio, print and online media campaign is targeted towards people aged 15-29 and will increase awareness of the rise of STIs such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HPV, herpes, syphilis and HIV infections, how they are spread, some of the symptoms and the risks if left untreated.
